Custom drawer system and Fridge installed.

Just finished the drawer system yesterday and fit the fridge and engel slider. I'm happy with the way it turned out. I need to figure out how i want to divide the inside of the drawer. I will figure it out after a trial run next weekend.

bjowett,
I found out that nobody makes a locker right now for the new sequoia 10" rear. I talked with OX today and they said they would have a locker for this application out within a year.

I'm surprised that anyone would even consider it, but good news. It took a bit of an order with ARB to get the Tundra locker into production.

I love it but does the box need to be so large or the fridge mounted so high?

You are going to tow a trailer, right?

Looking forward to seeing the build continue and your trip take root!

I know its a little high, but I wanted a large space to store things under the fridge. The fridge in the sequoia is going to be used for drinks and daily items. I'm also going to have two Fridges in the AT trailer. One for cold and one for frozen items. We will se how it works out. I might have to tweak it to work better if it is to high.

Tembo Tusk makes the Load Spotter http://www.tembotusk.com/loadspot.php

That makes it easy to place a fridge up high for max storage ;)

I understand. It's going to be a pretty substantial trip but your wife may appreciate it being a little lower when she goes to get a soda!

Good call, Dave!

Thanks, I'm going to check out the load spotter. Does anyone have any experience with the load spotter? Quality and durability?

Brilliant design. I've seen them and played around with them at OVX and the Hollister Rally, very sturdy and easy to deploy.

Top notch, hand made construction and it's a family business - I highly recommend them.

I will check them out. I just bought three of the engel slides. Know of anyone who wants to buy an engel slide for a good price?

Bud Built

I love my Bud Build skids (they have saved my 4Runner many times and have allowed me to 'play hard').

Bud is a great guy and I love doing business with Bud Built.

I'm curious why you decided to have the stainless skids powder coated?

I forgot to add skids to my to do list. I talked with Bud at Bubbuilt the other day. He is going to build me a set of skids out of stainless steel. I am going to have them powder coated black. The front is exactly like the Tundra and Bud is going to do a custom gas tank skid plate to fit the new sequoia. Bud was very helpful and was willing to go out of his way for me.

Great start to what is gonna be a sweet build if you go with what you have outlined.
Fun trip too!!
I just got a 10 Crewmax this Spring and plan on doing a build as well.

ARB does make a locker for the front. RD141

Viair 20001 UltraDuty is a great air system for airup of toys, tires, airbags/ARB, tools too. I like Powertank CO2 for short trips but cant rely on something that will empty for a long outing.

Working with a Guy in Oceanside on a real set of sliders for the CM, maybe he will have a Sequoia option- i'll ask. Budbuilt also has nice sliders, shipping to W. coast beats that up for me. His skids are #1.

Looking forward to your updates.

I agree Bud is a top notch guy. I'm looking forward to getting his skids. I was thinking of having the stainless steel skids power coated because I didn't want the front skid plate to stick out to much.... But now i am thinking about just keeping the stainless look. I just don't want it to look to strange.. Do you have any thoughts?

I would sell one of the slides for $215+ shipping. They are very well built. The other two are going into my AT trailer.. I got a really good deal on them.
