So by going "back to its roots" shouldn't it be a Tacoma with a removable fiberglass shell and open area rear?
If they built that, My 05 Taco would be sitting at my local dealer waiting to be traded in.

They did give it the KDSS sway bars....
So my vote...manual hubs and a manual shift t-case, I'd rather have to get out in the most horrific weather imaginable and lock my hubs then trust that a little electric motor and a circuit board are gonna save my bacon.
