2011 5.7 Hemi JK, Exceptional Build by AEV and AT Overland

We built this truck to show the full potential of the JK as a legitimate overland platform. It started life as a 2011 Rubicon and went straight from the Jeep factory to AEV and straight from there to AT Overland. Both of these companies do exceptional work and the combination of their efforts have made this truck among very few vehicles in the world that can take you across the Rubicon trail, provide you and three friends with a place to sleep, offer you a place to cook, and keep your steaks and beers cold. It's shockingly capable on the trail and in camp. Hopefully the pictures will give you some idea.

We fondly refer to the truck as “Ubercon.” It's been in Overland Journal, JPFreek, and Autoweek magazines and numerous shows including Outdoor Retailer, Overland Expo, Off Road Expo, and SEMA.

Here's a couple nice videos from AT Overland showing some of the truck's features and capability:

Why on earth am I selling it? I keep asking myself that. The truth is, we just had a second baby and we're not camping much right now. It's time for the next phase in life and the next project. This truck is flawless. I'm certain the next owner will agree.

Regarding the graphic wrap shown in the photos, it's been on the truck since the original build with AT and has served to protect the paint. I will be covering the white NEMO logos with color matched vinyl, but will otherwise be leaving the wrap. It's in great condition and it's pretty eye-catching. If you want it removed, I'm happy to call a local vehicle wrap shop and get a quote.

Likewise with shipping. It's best of course if you come see the truck and drive it home. But I'm happy to help facilitate shipping arrangements. I've shipped trucks a few times before and have a good contact.

Showing the kitchen area at the rear of the truck. The setup works really well with the propane tank right there and the Outback fold-down table and cutting board.kitchenF.jpg

Nice. Clearly a 'reference' vehicle.

Not including the back seat, how many cubic feet of storage is there?

I love this truck. I spent months looking at it, and the Habitat, and considered selling my Land Cruiser to go this route. GLWS, very nice execution across the board with all elements.

I have lusted after this truck for several years. Ubercon indeed. It's my dream rig. I hate being poor.

mvbeggs, darn good question. Forgot to include! I just added the location and mileage above--it's in southern NH and the clock is at 44K.

GR8ADV, regarding the cubic feet, essentially the whole back behind the seats is available except for the volume of the fridge and the stove. It's just divided now between the shelf space, the drawer, and the space in between. That it's divided up like that forces me to think a little about the size bags I bring, but is also useful for staying organized. I usually put kitchen and bathroom items in the drawer, and put the PETT toilet, first aid, wool blanket, etc on the shelf. The space above the drawer is great for luggage--there's a dense rubber mat protecting the drawer and it's easy to nest things in there so they don't bounce around.

Wow. Awesome. One of those iconic builds that I have watched... lusted after. I might be wrong but that price seems very good considering what it would cost to build that from scratch. Especially with a Hemi. Such a cool setup.

Ratman1979, you are correct. It has a full rear seat and all the graphics can be removed to reveal a red truck. It's just a vinyl wrap.
