2011 Wrangler Motor?

Color coordinated top and flares is nice, but will it have the same old gutless 3.8L or new PentaStar 3.6L? If it comes with diesel, my check book is at the ready.

Yes! :wings:

I'm partial to the appearance of the 2-door but know the 4-door is much more practical and I prefer the longer wheelbase most of the time.

Color matched top and fenders? What a nice idea!

I did a double take on this pic...is that Wheelers Pass in LV, NV? It seems like youa re always seeing something around that spot. Out of the 15+ times I have hit that trail maybe half or better I have seen vehicles with and without covers on them. They had a Raptor out there maybe a year and a half to two years ago. Then if you go up to Mt. Charleston there are a couple of turn offs where some company likes to do new vehicle shots with and without models. I prefer the models ;)

I believe it has been confirmed that there will be no Pentastar V6 until at least 2012. I wouldn't hold your breath regarding a diesel. Although the 174/339 2.8 CRD from the UK Wrangler would be very nice.

Dare We Dream?

Looks like all the other jeeps.:coffee:

Nay, nay....The painted flares, the slightly rounded windshield and if we dare to dream, perhaps more cup holders and some exciting new colors?

Who needs more torque, better milage, a diesel, less immediate depreciation and other fluff like that?

I know they are mainly cosmetic changes, but I like the look of the new interior much better than the one in my '08.

It would be nice if they'd put the new V6 in it sooner rather than later.

new interior

There is a thread on JKforum. I like it . Never did understand why a tough vehicle can't have a comfortable interior unless you are just mudding. My old land cruiser had leather power seats heated seats and ran 35's with a full wrap around arb and front end protection. I wish I had never sold it

They are trying to keep the costs down.

Leather timmed seats seats are an option on Sahara and Rubicon models according to the 2010 brochure.

I think Leather or vinyl seats are the way to go. They may be hot but at least you can clean them off with a damp towel.
