2011 Tacoma IBS and second battery install

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm still deciding whether or not to take this approach. It is a bit intimidating to chop into the factory wiring with a relatively new truck. I'm not sure of the warranty implications. But the bigger battery would be nice.

If you could keep it factory I would. Less to worry about and explain or correct later, IMO. But technically speaking it should work.

Thanks for the post. Your install gave me an idea- install the group 31, wire the camper loads to it but leave it as the starter battery also (leave the factory wiring intact). Use my second battery simply as backup for the starter. Much simpler than rewiring the truck starting circuit. I looked through your build thread too- nice job on your mods.
