2012 Black Forest Green JKUR

Below is my build sheet for my 2012 JKUR. I’ve been reading this board for some time and gotten some great ideas. After buying my Jeep new, I was slowly building it up, buy a part once and awhile but after spending a few months overseas was able to afford most on my list.

This is not my first Jeep, owned a 94 YJ that I went a little crazy with - hoped to avoid that this time by doing some planning and research. I also currently own a 74 FJ40, which will be my next project when the JK is done.

The goal with my Jeep is daily driver but able to explore the Colorado backcountry on the weekends. I need to be able to transport my wife, two daughters plus my 75lb dog and sustain us for the weekend. The ultimate dream is to drive down to Central America.

This is some of what I had waiting for me when I got home. Got to love when you have a pallet of stuff waiting for you.

I love the pallet picture:Wow1: Primarily I like it because I showed it to my wife and said, "see, I don't have a jeep problem... THIS is a jeep problem"

Who knew you were a marriage counselor :) Best luck to you on your build. Beautiful jeep.

Just saw a forest green JKU today. Oh man is that color awesome!
Looks like you've got a great, and sensible, build going for your goals. Awesome job on not going overboard.

Sweet! I've had a week where 1 or 2 car parts were being dropped off every day for my car build this summer...best feeling coming home every day, like Christmas morning...But never had a PALLET drop!
Now I'm getting antsy for my JKUR to get here...being told first wk of Nov....

Nice....I can relate to the pallet of parts...looks like Northridge4x4?

Took me from 9am to about 8pm one day to do the lift with dirve shafts, and the rear bumper with swing out. Front bumper took about 5 hours with winch install the next day in the garage.

Having access to a lift made life a bit easier.

Nice looking Jeep, yep got the stuff from Northridge. Lift would be nice, I always find myself going to the autoparts store have way through install, always need one tool or something to finish.
