2012 FJ Cruiser Special Trail Team Edition

Does anyone know why there is a hold up on the Special Edition FJ's. I have been waiting for 10 weeks for mine and recieved email that there was a supplier issue with the black steel wheels. Curious on what the issue is and how long it will take to fix. Thanks!!

I waited 5 months to get my FJ, and it has steel wheels. I think yours will have aluminum.?

We just had 2. Neither were presold, but they didn't last long.

The local dealer here has 1 on the lot, it has the same aluminum wheels that my '08 TT had. The 2012 TT is a little to red for my taste.

Oh wow...5 months, I suppose I shouldnt complain then. But I have had comments saying they are aluminum, some saying their steel. I guess I will find out whenever it arrives. All I know is when I ordered the TT Edition it said "black steel wheels", makes me no difference. Just cant seem to find out any information on the so called "hold up" with the supplier for the wheels. My FJ has been in Portland since early May for this delay. I am patient, just curious on the delay from the supplier and what it is. I have talked with 2012 FJ Trail Team owners and they said there havent been any recalls and they recieved them 6-8 weeks after they ordered.

Yeah there's no reason you should be waiting this long. Seen one at my dealer too. I'd be calling and seeing ****** is up.
