since this is just a six,how does this rig work in the mountains? gvw?
and what shape is the canvas and hydraulics in?
mpg with load? my tacoma stinks....

It is all relative I guess. That is why I specifically built up a very minimal (Light) interior. The Truck handles the weight fine, you dont really know its back there, and if you really put your foot in it, I'm sure it will go hard uphill too. But of course your MPG will suffer,, that is the nature of driving a 'house' around on a small pickup. I drive the truck pretty conservatively (58 - 60 on the speedo = 60-64 actual). Depending on terrain,, we probably average 15-17mpg. I weighed the truck fully loaded the day we got home from Ovelrand expo. We are at just over 6100 lbs (GVWR is 5500). Popup fabric is clean, windows are clean, hydraulic struts I replaced with the heavier 40# units direct from FWC and they are perfect with the Solar up top. Cheers
