It seems like yesterday that I was second in line to buy your 100. I guess I've done 2 builds since then also. My guess is Paul is getting a 200 or a new Tacoma.

Tacoma is too similar to this 4Runner. The new 200-series just makes too much sense. If I were to get back into a Toyota, it would be a no-brainer.

True. Also, Paul tends to build his trucks in a very overland-centric-style befitting of the 200's larger footprint and payload. And I'm sure he misses his 100 ;)

Hey Paul, I'll bet you a tasty beverage that its a 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro!

By the way I really enjoyed the party you hosted at the 2015 overland expo!

Water Solution Re-Install

I re-installed the rear roto-pak water solution on top of the composite drawer. This time I mounted it directly to the the surface of the drawer instead of on top of the tie-down rail. Six opposing 3/8" bolts hold it rock solid. No wobble at all this time.

Cheers,

Hi Paul- read most of your build thread (or at least tried to) but did not see where you mentioned what bracket you used for the rotopax? I have been toying with the idea of getting drawers myself, but figuring out where to carry my water inside has been a big speed bump until now. Also, where did you get the 4-gallon water pack? Can't seem to find it anywhere, must be discontinued. Great stuff- sad to see your selling the rig!

If Rotopax has discontinued that can Expedition One has one nearly identical. Available in white or black.

Boy, you gotta be quick around here. Ace is right. It is an Expedition One container. I custom built the holder for it. Pretty simple design. And the tap was the result of an Ace Hardware adventure. It has worked perfectly in that space. I don't have to remove the water at every camp, and it keeps gear from falling behind the fridge when I pull it out. I have really enjoyed it.

Cheers,
