SOLD!

Are you looking for a fully self-contained home on wheels/weekend getaway mobile with everything you need and many things you want? Do you want to travel the world with a full bathroom, comfy bedroom and functional kitchen? Are you looking to park easily into a standard parking spot while still having all the amenities you need to travel comfortably? Have a turning radius that rivals some sedans? Short enough in height and length to be let into all national parks? Be able to get off the beaten path, adventure to amazing and beautiful places and go where most people would never dream to go? This 2014 EarthCruiser FX is just what you need! This is an opportunity to own an exceptional vehicle, built by an exceptional company, and avoid the wait for a new build. It’s the ultimate social distancing machine.

No need for propane or secondary fuel sources as everything runs off of diesel and solar. A full-size bed, large shower, composting toilet, dual sinks, dual cooktop, fridge, microwave, four-person dinette and a lot of storage you will ever need are waiting to take you to all the places you’ve been dreaming to visit.

We’ve been living out of this EarthCruiser FX for almost 4 years (we are the second owners) and have been incredibly comfortable traveling on many amazing adventures. All the improvements we’ve made have made living in the EarthCruiser that much more comfortable, efficient and easier to maintain. We’ve worked through all the bugs so you don’t have to.

We originally bought this vehicle for a 1-year journey starting in Alaska, which has turned out to be a 4 year trek through the United States, twice to the Arctic Circle, Western Canada, the entire Baja peninsula a couple of times, through mainland Mexico and the elusive Copper Canyon.

We have loved traveling in our EarthCruiser and it is almost perfect, but after almost 4 years of living on the road full time we have some specific requirements that are leading us to the decision of building our own rig. This has been a hard decision to make because the EarthCruiser has served us so well.

This Earth Cruiser has been outfitted with almost all the options that were available at time of purchase, plus we’ve also added many improvements on our own. With all the upgrades and improvements we’ve made, all that’s left for you is to load your personal items and hit the road. You can visit www.earthcruiser.com for more general information and pictures, but we’ll give you plenty of info and pictures on our vehicle here.

We have taken exceptional care and have made many improvements over the years. It has been kept pet-free, smoke-free and grease-free. While we love getting off the beaten path, more so than not, we have taken great care of the exterior and interior and have performed maintenance and upkeep. (We have detailed records)

We are currently exploring SE Arizona, so please reach out to us with questions or to schedule a visit and we can let you know where we are currently at. We can discuss potential delivery anywhere in the West.

You can see more pics and videos at @abbytheearthcruiser and #abbytheearthcruiser. You can see our adventures in the EarthCruiser at @outdoorwonderexploring.

  • Water fill keyhole was filled with epoxy by prev owner
  • Branch hit roof gutter and front right window frame - been repaired with 3M outdoor silicone
  • A few dents/dings on cab (roof from getting in and out of cargo area, front from a mechanic flipping cab without first lowering bull bar)
  • Minor surface rust on some drivetrain and frame rail areas (I don’t wash the truck as often as I wash the underside, especially after being out in wintry or muddy conditions)
  • ECB Bull bar plastic trim pieces have fallen off many miles ago. They are ~$70 each but never bothered me without them

I had a question about the rust underneath, after crawling underneath and looking in more detail, the rust is on the axles, diffs and springs. The frame still looks very clean with no rust to be found.

Here are a few more detailed pictures of the underside. It's a little dirty still, even after a quick wash.

McCarthy

Is it riding season yet?
Very minimal rust, nothing a couple hours with a wire wheel and some POR 15 couldn't fix.

I traveled extensively with these guys last summer. Cool rig that is kept in tip top condition. The ad is a good representation of the truck. Meticulous and detailed.

Your earth cruiser looked like it just flew down those dirt roads! We were amazed when you posted those videos recently.

Good luck with the sale!

Man I want this so bad! Exactly what I am looking for, outside of the extra digit in the price. Hope this sells soon so I can quit opening this thread....

We’ve gotten a few questions about the storage capacity in our Earth Cruiser. There’s a great deal of it! There are storage compartments all over and are laid out very efficiently.

The last time we were at a house we took every single item out of the Earth Cruiser and laid it out in the driveway...the end result was filling out a two car driveway space!

Let us know if you have any questions about our EC. We are happy to discuss.
