I love Earthroamers but this one does seem a bit over priced but I'm not an expert. They may have paid that much for it new I guess they say trade-in value ? I like the extended cab, makes it a little smaller.

I’m a big fan of the ER as well.
If I ever sell my house, and take to the road full time, this would be the vehicle I would choose.
Hard to determine what is fair market value on these vehicles. Even before this current silly era of overpriced OEVs, ERs have always been pricey.
Over the years, there have been some “deals”, here on EP.
There were a few 6.0s that sold in the 100-150 price range, but there was usually drama involved with the purchase.

Who knows, but here is an LTS from Earthroamer that is one year newer & with less miles....for the exact same price.

Right now private party sales (FB, RVTrader) are asking higher prices than EarthRoamer itself, which seems suspect.

6.4 Powerstroke. Yuck. These things are gonna sit for a while.

It is a 6.7.
I think the 2011 was first year of 6.7.
They had turbo issues, but supposedly were worked out by 2012.

Missed the year. Thought it said 2008. My bad.

There is a 6.4 ER for sale right now, that I believe has had the engine replaced.
I don’t believe there is a way to bulletproof the 6.4.
I’m inclined to believe the only solution is a Cummins swap.

Bingo. Fummins to the rescue. Too bad. Those years are my favorite SD except for that engine.

You just said how to bullet proof a 6.4, Cummins swap it.

I hate, absolutely hate the Maxxforce 7, International speak for 6.4.

"go- anywhere" is such a false statement, it isn't even funny. It is ignorant.

I fully agree. That is a VERY common misperception though. We have an F550 with a composite box, and the number one comment we get is “man, that thing can go anywhere.” Not even close, it is tall, wide and 30’ long. Trees are a major issue in some parts.
