I know I suck at documenting. Tell me what you want a photo of.

Next up is the following:

Kenwood D-710A Dual Band Radio
Drawer System from AT Overland with slide out fridge for my ARB
Modifications to my Chaser Adventure Trailer to add stove, integrated table, and 5 lbs propane bottle
Dual battery set up
Trailgater rear table for the back of the JK
National Luna LED light for rear glass area
Upper cargo rack from AT Overland
Rear power solution
.....enough to keep me busy for a while.

Not really! I've seen what a deer will do to an AEV bumper and you'd be surprised. They're just made from stamped sheet metal. A deer took out a Jeep that was at local body shop recently. The hood, grill, core support, radiator, a/c condenser and the AEV bumper were all trashed.

It's usually cheaper to buy some decent lights than it is to deal with hitting an animal. While 3k for FLIR is not cheap by any means... I've paid close to that for all the different HIDs, headlights and LEDs I've gone though over the last 5 years (don't ask). But then I'm anal about trying to see with all the night driving I do, and all the animals up here. A moose or a buffalo will write off your vehicle. A deer (not many up here) or a cariboo will just wreck... LOTS.

E V E R Y T H I N G !!

It's jeep porn. The more the better! Plus it gives me (and likely others) something to do when it's quiet at work (or when I just don't feel like working).

Okay well. I went into the garage and just started shooting things that I likely didn't have images of. Maybe at least this will drum up discussion:

Nice, nice, nice! I get the FLIR thing now. Lots of deer in my area, and tons in yours too! Great idea, but slightly out of my budget.

Great idea if you want to drive around fast at night while staring at the nav screen.
It's cool, but doesn't seem at all practical in a vehicle. I've seen flir in use in fixed wing aircraft and its a very useful tool for extra situational awareness at night or incliment weather. I'd love to have it in the helicopters I fly. But in my jeep? I don't see the practical use of it. Particularly at night, your attention really needs to be outside the vehicle. You cover too much ground, too quickly, to scan the screen enough to be a useful tool IMO.

I get it if its just something cool to use.

The build is looking good though!

Are you running truck lite fog lights? What do you think of them? I was so unimpressed with the truck lite head lights (on low beam) that I installed the jw speaker fog lights. The output and cutoff of the fog lights is way better than the truck lite head lights. Sharp cutoff and nice full pattern.

Cool what helo do you fly? As for the lights yes I am running TruckLite headlights and fog lights. I am blown away by them! I was actually disappointed in the JW Speaker ones. The pattern was too concentrated and left far too much unlit on the sides. The truck lites have a proper pattern and are extremely bright. The fog lights are also very bright. When you have them pointed properly they add so much to your visibility. I wouldn't recommend anyone go any other way.

Not to intrude but I have found proper aiming of the Truck-lites to be key in their enjoyment. Re-aimed them a couple times to fine the sweet spot of distance and not blinding anyone and I couldn't be happier with their performance. I'm sure you have probably thought of this but just thought I would throw it out there.

I concur here. Without a proper aiming job they are junk. When done right they put amazing amounts of light in the right place. Fortunately aiming lights in these JK takes nothing more then a skinny T-15 driver.

O.K. What is all THAT? ^^^

A a pic of the snorkel with the hood up would be cool (I sort of followed your description but you know what they say a picture is worth).

If you are referring to the photo you quoted that is the sPod. It is a very convenient way to manage electrical gadgets in the truck. Everything from the air compressor to all the lighting can be controlled via a protected circuit system under the hood. The digital dial in the center of that is called an Aeroforce Intercepter which is essentially a fancy programmable ODBII reader that can scroll through and give you readings of tons of parameters on the engine and transmission. You can program warnings in there like temperature temp limits which will notify you before you hit the redline. This comes in handy when towing a heavy trailer.

Here are some detailed photos under the hood showing the snorkel attachment. Also you can see the sPod on the other side which ties into that switch system you were asking about.

Sure. I had my local stereo shop install the MyGig into my 730N which gives you all the video interfaces and other features. Then I used an Alpine rear view camera (whichever the best one they had that matched my resolution) and mounted it to the pole on the AEV bumper. I grabbed power from the reverse light circuit behind one of the tailights. From there I ran the loom inside the stock wiring loom all the way to the firewall and then into the area behind the dash and into the video inputs on the 730N. The front camera will be easier.
I think you mean LockPick. MyGig used to be the generic name for the factory touch-screen nav. LockPick is the cool third-party gizmo that plugs into the rear of the factory nav and enables features disabled by the factory. :)

If you can do a set of pictures of your air system, that'd be great. Your connector under the seat looks awesome.

Also, do the sPOD switches light up when not on? I've got an older one and at night, when it's dark in the cab, they don't light up which can make flipping the wrong switch easy until you get muscle memory for what's where. Love the sPOD even with that.
