2015 Tank Green Rubi "Damma Trucker" Overlander Build...

Mounted up the extinguishers and the fuel for the camp stoves, the Grabars and threw in the basics I'd like to have in the Rubi like the tool bag, hi lift (under rear seat), first aid kit and recovery bag (also jammed under rear seat;). Won't have most of this stuff in there day to day, but needed to see how it all was going to work. Once I figure out a solid divider option (Bestop, ARB, "other"), I'll mount up the axe, shovel and saw etc more solid and permanant....

Nice... looks like you have a lot planned hope to see you around the area sometime.

Just might be sooner than you'd think. You're at Mass Maritime, right? My buddy finally talked me into dusting off my Striper fishin rigs and were most likely going to pitch the ditch and tool around Buttermilk... from there to Scussett beach etc...this weekend.
A little late to the game this year, but we might still get something worthwhile...

After cutting out some brand new hoses and tubes, and cutting up the brand new battery tray...and removing the brand new battery....from the brand new jeep,
Here is what you get with a brand new Genesis dual battery and 200 amp isolator system with two brand new Optima yellow tops...
(Is the Jeep still brand new now?) :)
As an aside, I have the Genesis G screen as well, just trying to figure out where to mount with good visibility that I don't mind also mutilating the brand new dash ;)

They have a mount for the screen for the sPod with the guage hole.

Hey Toxicity,
I saw that, but I already ordered the 2 LED std 6 switch Spod without the gauge hole. Saw one mounted lower right of the steering wheel...looked like it works well there, but thanks for the suggestion!

Project 3 completed!
M.O.R.E. Bracket and ARB Dual Air Compressor... :wings:
I was debating doing a write up on the install, but there's a lot of written stuff already out there for this relatively easy install. I had my tablet setup with the Youtube video.

Your Jeep is looking great and you clearly have purchased top-of-the-line parts! As far as rims go...what's wrong with the OEM? Backspacing? Regardless, can't wait to see the finished product.

Cheers

Mako, I'll be putting 37" BFG's on there (So really around 35.5-36") x 12.5. I think the stock rim is just too narrow. An 8.5" rim would work well...or 9". I definitely don't "need" the beadlocks I'm looking at, but they'll be nice to have in certain situations, are pretty easy to maintain, look nice and are built very solidly. I intend to either build up the axles or go right to prorocks within a year. To use it as I will for my one week excursions 3 times a year none of the above is required, or probably even recommended, but I'll be wheeling a bit a few times a year as well....and it's my toy...and a fun project! :)
As for the parts, they are what they are. I'd rather pay more upfront...once, for proven quality and durability. I'd also rather be posting pictures of me out in the woods USING said shiny bits with my family, dogs and friends. Those days are coming...
