2016 F550 Custom Overlander - San Jose, CA - PRICE REDUCED $215,000

I've been drooling over this unit for quite sometime now...it's beautiful. Have you explored whether a passthrough can be added from cab to camper? How removable is the camper?

The camper is removable. As far as a passthrough it would not be practical, just looking at the layout and where the equipment is located.
The truck cabin is well designed with an extra fridge (CFX 85), with a molded platform on the back seat that is perfect to store stuff, for pets, and to create extra sleeping space.
By not having a passthrough, the valuables in the camper are super safe. So many advantages to the design.

I think the question was, what is the GVWR, not how much it currently weighs.
Sorry, this is the answer from google! GVWR: The F-550 is available with four payload packages, offering Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings of 17,500 pounds, 18,000 pounds, 19,000 pounds, and 19,500 pounds in turn.
I added all the modifications (with pictures) that were done to the chassis, suspension, etc ... so you get a better sense that the unit was designed to be below the GVWR.

Going to be traveling to Reno on May 22-23, if someone is interested in viewing the unit along the way. Let me know.

Unit is still available and i can show it again as I am back from a 2 months European trip (This unit would have been wonderful in Northern Europe - Norway, Sweden, Finland!)

Not anymore. It was removed as the A/C was too strong (Mitsubishi unit 18,000 BTU). There is a great airflow with two fans and the open front (accordion).
Still have 4 Lithium batteries to run an A/C unit.

The space is still available to install a traditional A/C unit. Or, would recommend a portable unit. Here are a few examples:

ok thanks. Noticed no upper storage. How is storage. Under searing, out side, in truck?

Actually you have lots of storage-
Inside: Under seats, Special shoe compartment (pull out), two laundry baskets, kitchen drawers (4x), trash can (under sink), Under the bed (front and back. Storage accessed thru lifters) - Also bed can turn into a coach,
Outside: Subframe (can store kayak, skis), storage cabinets (3x), storage in the outside sink, drawers (above outside sink)
Back of truck: Platform to store bikes, eBikes
Back of truck top: Slots to store surfboards, skis, longer items, ...
Inside the truck cabin: back seat has a molded flat bench

Too strong? No way to have it on "setting 1" and not frost yourself?
