I think yours will be the first K2XX (2015 +) Suburban build on the forum so let us know what you come up with.

After modifying a few vehicles, I find a few small adjustments usually end up being better than the over the top plans that we dream in our head. I plan on something similar to the below picture: 1.5-2” of lift, stock wheels, and 285/65R18 or 275/70R18s. Slightly better traction, slightly more capable, fix at any dealership, OEM style. That combo will get my family’s where we need need to go (which is 95% pavement and 5% dirt if we are lucky). Dont need a tank to have fun.

I have tire size dilemmas as well, for when I lift my 2016 Silverado
285/65R18; 32.6" X 11.20"
My current size:
265/65R18; 31.6" x 10.40"
275/70R18 seem way too small: 33.20" x 10.80"
285/75/18 seems like a tall tire that might rub: 34.8" x 11.2"
285/70R18 seems like a nice size: 33.70" x 11.20"...…….not at tall as the 285.75 and a tad taller than that 285/65

That will get you to a lot of fun places and pretty far back into the backcountry. Much further than we did with a Subaru. And we took that thing waaaay out there.
Tire wise, I’d probably go 275/70/18 due to cost and availability. 33’s will be plenty of tire.

Around here it seems like they only sell them in two colors: Black and white. And black outnumbers white 2:1.
I guess it makes sense if it's functioning as a limo (which I think is what most brand new 'Burbs are) but no way would I want a black vehicle if I was traveling in the desert.

Stock wheels and factory offset are pretty tricky maintaining clearances on newer GMs. Even with a 285 I believe you’ll still get some amount of rubbing on the factory sway bar at full lock. I am opting for the the 275 KO2s as I end up needing full lock steering regularly in the land of parking garages and suburbia. Another example of 275s
There are quite a few options when it come so to aftermarket struts and coilovers (5100, 6112, Fox 2.0, Fox/King 2.5, etc). I’m happy with my Kings on my pickup, but considering a more frugal option for our suburban.

OP, have you figured anything out? I have a 2016 Tahoe that I'm considering a few modification on but I haven't got very far.
