How does one "upgrade" their windshield on an f150? Mine has half a dozen small chips, but I think the soundproofing option in the King Ranch makes it harder to crack. Good info to know though I'd one of those chips finally goes!Upgrade time!
Upgrade my windshield? That counts right? Had a chip that turned into a 2 foot crack so had it replaced.
Also bought a RiGd Ultraswing from a fellow member so I’m stoked on that. With the exception of not having a matching spare, I love it. And it makes my wife happy getting the spare out of the garage. Came with a front runner table. Going to get a back up camera relocation kit and a license plate relocated. Thanks Lex!
Bought a speedometer recalibration thing that plugs into the OBD port. Haven’t done it yet but I plan on re programming the computer for my 315 tires and 4.56 gears.

Upgrade from the OEM one??? Lol. IDK. Just being silly.
But it really is quite the upgrade. My old one was dirty and gross and no matter how new the wipers were, there was always streaks. So, not an upgrade per say, just nice and new.

I've had 3 windshields on my truck; the original, the replacement and the replacements replacement. The 1st and 3rd were OEM Ford windshields. The middle one was some offbrand and it was junk. It had defects from the get go, it would also get weird shadows and effects when cleaned. Finally got damaged and I asked for OEM only and they obliged. I've been happy ever since.
My passengers side window is off brand, but I've had no issues and it was the only one I could get expedited during COVID.

Hi friends. No update on the truck. Been chillin with the fam and new baby the past 3 months while on leave. Drove my truck all of 20 miles since last coming in to work. I did change the oil tho! Oil filter is in a ridiculous location.

Lol, nope. We live about a mile away from Mission Bay in San Diego so I am now leaning towards getting a boat over a TT and making a tent setup work for when we do camp. I can see us using a boat significantly more than a TT.
But I also have a wife so my wants get squashed pretty quickly lolll
