I need to get out there with you before too long. I'll be leaving the area here soon.
When you heading out? We are trying to plan a 2 nighter around big bear and into the desert for a buddies bday around April. Also going to do a day trip to AB to check out the flower bloom hopefully in 3 weekends

Ok so I ordered some sliders lol. It was the best choice for next upgrade and I knew it.

Looking for a used Wilco/Rigd spare tire swing.

Might do some sound system later.

Oh, I'm also going to get my bed sprayed with liner. I have the plastic insert bed thing with a bed mat and I haven't ever liked it.

I checked Craigslist just about every day and created an alert on OfferUp for Wilco and Rigd. Took me about 2-3 months to find one but I scored a great deal.

Yeah that's the plan right now. I have a full size spare when I go offroad and AAA when I'm on the road lol so I feel I'm covered for now. Which one did you end up finding?

I found a Hitchgate Solo High-Clearance. I added the Front Runner fold-down table (one of my all-time favorite things) and a Roto-Pax.

I replaced the wood cutting board with the plastic one from Rigd. With all the rain we've been getting lately, the wood had swollen so much I couldn't get it out.

I finally fixed my squeaky leaf spring issues and didn’t have to buy new leafs. I enjoy driving my truck again.

I bought new OEM leaf spring isolator pads for $15 on eBay. Took me 20 minutes to replace all of them and it’s back to normal.

I did my last little trip about 10 days ago when we got hit with that snow storm. I'm driving cross country again in about 2 or 3 weeks so I'm packing up now, unfortunately.

My leafs are back to squeaking. Thinking now it might be the bushing. Going to try to somehow record the underneath when I drive and see if I can pinpoint it. Kind of hard to do that I assume. From driving with windows down it does seem like it's coming more from passenger side than driver side.

In other news. My last trip is coming up in a few weeks. The boys and I are doing 2 nights in Anza Borrego. I'm calling it my last trip due to another kiddo coming in a few months. I cant see myself leaving my wife for a fun desert weekend next season with 2 under 2 lol. Cant wait until I can bring the older one on a daddy daughter camp trip.

In other other news, sliders have shipped!! Cant wait to get them on.

BOOM! Stoked on these sliders! Took me about 3 hours to install. Ran into some issues with my RCI skid plates. Had to cut out a few minor spots for slider bracket figment and I did it by myself and these suckers are heavy, about 120 lbs each. Few bloody knuckles and a few swear words later they are all torqued down and good to go. First test next weekend In anza.

Now what can I spend my money on next….

So with the help of my dad I finally found the suspension noise I have been complaining about. Thought it was coming from the leaf springs but it turns out it is coming from the front shocks. Passenger side to be exact.

The large top bolt for the strut is somehow loose and I have no idea why or how. If you rock the front passenger side bumper it makes the noise I have been chasing. It seems as if the rubber ish bushing got compressed and never de compressed alllowing for it to move. I tried to tighten it but it just turned the strut shaft.

Anyone have any idea how to fix? Are the 2.0s rebuildable?
