I just picked up a 2017 Ford Expedition and am starting to build it out as my base camp for Dirt Biking. I have 3 kids and 2 dogs so something with a lot of space was my main consideration.
I looked at the Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon offerings but decided to go with the Expedition because I’m a big fan of the Ecoboost.
Im just starting the build out on this rig and have only tossed a roof basket on it so far. I’ve ordered a RCI engine and transfer case skid plate and am awaiting their arrival. Im holding off till spring to put new rims and 35s on it with a 2 inch body lift.
I plan on ground camping most of the time so no RTT for me. Will post more as things progress.
