2018 Frontier?

It’s the fact that the last few updates to the Nissan Frontier have been so minimal that’s seen such a stir caused by confirmation of the 2018 model. This time around, there’s going to be the option of a bigger V6 along with the usual 4-cylinder engine, along with a manual six-speed, an automatic five-speed and a traditional manual gearbox option. Huge improvements have been made to the Frontier’s suspension, interior technology has been taken up a dozen notches and the PRO-4X line is shaping up to be nothing short of unstoppable.

forgive me for not being up to date on these releases- but any news on the diesel Frontier? I would kill for the old first gen test mule, but a cummins pro-4x would be a thing of beauty

Nothing yet, I've been looking and that would be a winner with Toyota not having good one in the lineup yet

I'm anxiously awaiting the unveiling of the new Frontier. I have a Xterra currently (plan to keep it until it dies) and want a Frontier so I have a truck again (second vehicle). I have kept up with the Navarra announcements. I do hope the new Fronty keeps the off road capabilities.

I have my X which I'll be keeping forever. I like the Frontier too but think I'm gonna go full size with a Super Duty or Power Wagon. I'd really like to see FoMoCo build a Power Wagon competitor

I like the Power Wagon (spent a lot of time checking one out at the auto show), but I just don't need anything that large. The only thing I'll tow will be my M416 and that size bed(Fronty) is plenty large for my uses.

Not this post again. I have seen this post since 2015, Every year it is the same photo of the Navara, with the same wording. Unless Nissan has announced it, I won't believe it.

I haven't seen anything official (and I look regularly). As I stated, I am anxiously waiting for the new Fronty. I really hoped they were going to reveal it at the Chicago Auto Show this year, but they did not. I'll just continue to wait. They have to replace it eventually. I don't believe Nissan is going to give up on that market share.

This is the first time e I've seen this. Hence, the "?" at theach end of the title...

That Navarra photo was supposed to be the 2016 Frontier. Then it was allegedly the 2017. Still hasn't happened. The Colorado/Canyon have diesels, the Taco was just redesigned and the Ranger is coming back. Despite all this, Nissan's last major redesign of the Frontier was 2005. And then they discontinued the Xterra. I'm not impressed with Nissan anymore. I had a 2004 Xterra for five years and then upgraded to a 2014 Frontier. I kept that for a whole six months before I got tired of it and bought a Tundra. I'm all set with Nissan.

Non-credible sources repeated year after year. Only thing that changes is the what year it will be introduced. When will they start pumping this click-bait with "the new 2019 Nissan Frontier"?
