Ok. So an opportunity arose to buy a rear bumper. I needed something to carrier a 35” tire. Since it wouldn’t fit in the stock location under the truck. And I wanted a place for water cans and fuel cans.
I found this up in Montana. And it just so happened we went camping up in West Yellowstone.
Picked it up in Red Lodge Montana for $900. Its an Aluminess rear bumper. Included a spare tire carrier and jerry can holder.
Took the camper up to West Yellowstone Montana for a Labor Day Retreat.
We went and did some exploring around Cooke City, checked out some old gold, silver and copper mining sites. The new 325x65x18 Fierce Attitude MTs did great on the loose dirt and rocks. Didn't loose traction on anything. I didn't even air down. So far, I'm pretty impressed with them.
Some Yellowstone Pictures and the camping spot outside of West Yellowstone.
I bought a different cellphone amplifier antenna. I'm going to reroute the wiring to the rear bumper.
I also bought the wiring harness for the CHISM Cargo View Brake Light. I upgraded the brake light to the cargo view one, because it has a camera, and the brake lights and the cargo lights are LED. Plus its black and matches the rest of the truck.
I will also be building a mount for my ARB Tred Pros onto the back bumper.
I'll be adding a small tool box inside the bed as well. Tired of the tote sliding around everywhere.
And attach my Garbage bag to the spare tire.
Delete the truck. I plan to keep it for a very long time. I'm going to register it in Montana. Tired of the amount of DEF this thing uses.
A rear locker, it has a limited slip that works very well, but a locker would be awesome.
Great find on that bumper, truck looks great. Would you happen to have a picture directly from the side to show how far it sticks out with the tire mounted?
