2019 GMC Serria 1500 AT4 feedback

The GM 6.2 is a beast but requires premium fuel. Are you looking at the 3.0 diesel?

If you’re not too brand loyal take a look at the Rebel. It has a real locker and Ram has the nicest interior by far.

@knoxswift - congrats on the purchase. Standard bed is definitely the way to go! Yeah, I hear ya - it was hard seeing my built Tundra thunder off into the sunset, but these newer trucks have so much more to offer in terms of upgrades if you want them - and yeah, maybe I am just an old man now, but I appreciate the little things (heated/cooled seats?!).

Well the truck has finally arrived. Picking it up tomorrow! The actual payload came in lower than expected but still well above my old toyota so I think I'll be OK. Yes, I got the Heated/Cooled seats. I'm OLD and had the money to comfort myself! LOL!!! NOW the big job begins to make my old FWC fit the new truck that has a much bigger bed. I'm planning to build a platform and maybe if enough room put draws under the camper. We'll see how this goes. I have all winter to try and figure this out as I'm not traveling this winter as I have years past.

Congrats! Enjoy the new truck. Drawers sound like a good use of the space. Out of curiosity, what did the payload come in at?
