Has anyone figured out what would be the lowest diff gears you could put in in order compensate for a low gear (4L)?
The factory one is 4.10, but this only works with the 3.5L vans. I wonder if you could put 4.30 or even lower one?

Before you go super deep into trying to find all the super-short gearsets, you may want to run the numbers with the transmission ratios. It is my recollection (though I don't have a chart in front of me), that with the 10-speed transmission, that super-short 1st gear makes for a crawl ratio actually shorter than the Sprinters with the 2-speed transfer case in 4-Low. (Because the Sprinter's 1st is quite a bit taller.)

IOW, you may not NEED to go crazy on the final drive ratio, unless you're doing crazy amounts of bodywork/lift to fit REALLY tall tires.
