2020+ Frontier

How about it this way. But the updated powertrain you will be happy with the frontier. I have the old power train and I'm still pretty happy with the frontier.

For perspective this is me driving right now to Minnesota from Colorado 2012 that isn't exactly aerodynamic friendly due to modifications. I'd still rather drive my truck and take an airplane if I can avoid it. Yes there are more economical Vehicles out there too, but that requires me purchase sooner or renting one. I'm pretty happy with my truck for long distance trips

Is the rear slider on 2020+ trucks electric/power sliding?

It seems like used 2020+trucks are about $3,000 - $5,000 cheaper than used 2023+ Canyon and Colorado trucks

Well that stinks, the Colorado and Canyon trucks aren't electric powered either

Are the side view mirrors heated and power folding?

Maybe I'm just spoiled with my Silverado LTZ Z71

D40 yes and no. Power folding is a no. Power heat is a yes depending on the package. My 2012 has power heat and a remote control inside for position. D41 might have power folding, but j would verify

Some interior specs i found on Edmunds comparing my 2016 Silverado vs a 2022 Frontier

Yes the rear seats will fold up and down. To fall down you do have to remove the headrests. That said when folded up you simply have a storage tray underneath.

Also keep in mind the power isn't everything

2023 Chevrolet Colorado

2023 Nissan Frontier

Interesting that the Colorado has 13" rotors and the Frontier has 11"

Keep in mind that the Frontier has more than enough stopping power for itself and more when towing. You are overthinking this and it is time to make a decision
