First dirt bike in 40 years. Play bike for me and starter bike for my teenage boys. One ride so far and it really does well low to mid range. Plenty of torque for such a small motor. It did really well in sand and rocks.
3 hours on the bike now so I’m able to open it up an evaluate the full power curve. I’m impressed with the motor. Smooth pull bottom to top end. Incredibly linear pull which keeps shifting minimal for such a small motor.
You made an excellent choice for a play bike!! I got rid of my KTM300 a few years back and am going to downsize myself. I'm looking at the 125X Yamaha.
The 150’s are so good. I’m on a ‘19 and the wifey on a ‘20. Came off of a 300 and owned several other bikes over the years. The 150 is an absolute weapon, especially in technical terrain. Biggest surprise for me is how hard it pulls at high elevation. Big, tech climbs at 10k’ elevation are no problem.
