2022 FORD F550 GXV TURTLE XXL EXPEDITION VEHICLE, LIKE NEW, 3K MILES, OREGON

Like new with only 3,000 miles. My twin girls have outgrown their sleeping space.

We specifically built this GXV for a family trip to the Arctic Circle with my twin 5 year olds and many adventures after. We wanted more sleeping room, so we slightly widened and lengthened the dinette space during the build. It was perfect for their age at that time and within budget compared to the larger platforms and another company everyone knows.

Covid hit shortly after we pulled the trigger in 2020 and caused some long delays of the build. We took delivery in May 2022. In December of 2022 we had a major family emergency that needed a lot of attention and time away from home. Long story short our twins no longer sleep well in the Turtle at 9 years old and while being taller than most 9-year-olds so it’s time to sell and find a different platform. On a side note, 1 adult can sleep on the dinette at 6’ tall comfortably.

This Turtle build has many upgrades. One was plenty of power to produce videos from the road. Two was to be prepared for the Arctic so a heater was installed in the garage and also for the grey water tank with additional insulation. Also a plug-in heater for the 6.7 liter diesel. The interior as 11 120V outlets, 6 USB Outlets, and 1 12V Cigarette style outlet not including 2 120V outlets in the bathroom and 2 120V outlets in the garage for the heater and the Warn spare tire PullzAll winch. Also, a ton of interior storage with two coat closets, one is currently shelving storage. Storage also under the dinette table.

This is a brand new truck/build. Yes, it has been used but only a handful of times. We’ve even avoided to use the toilet for you know what.

Get the kids a tent and keep the truck.
This comment should be taken seriously. Kids never play outside anymore, and that is a sign that something is wrong with our society. As a kid, I camped in an old army surplus tent my dad set up. When it rained (it always does in the PNW) it leaked like a sieve. Kids today have it too easy, FFS most of them could not start a fire to save their lives.

I’m not sure I’d go so far as to get the girls a leaky tent but sooner than later they will be at an age where they don’t want to be in a camper with Mom and Dad or even camping at all. Getting rid of a really nice truck like this seems like a waste but I guess if you had half a million dollars to blow on it in the first place buying something else is trivial anyway.
