I’ve noticed more and more Tacomas and other “little” trucks for sale in the classifieds section in the last year and almost all mentioned something about “going bigger” in the ad.
Never quite understood the trend, but that seems to happen often with me, being a logical individual and all. ?

I'm a pretty curious type, over the last couple years we've seen
MANY small truck sellers on here advertise their pricing 60-80k+
I'm curious, do the buyers who borrowed that kind of money have
buyers remorse?
I have the same curiosity about people that buy the "trendy " vans
that have a 250k+ price tag..yikes..that's a lot of money.
I notice there are more in the marketplace, but not seeing 'obo" yet.
I'm on the bottom of the food chain and can't relate.

I can share MY OWN FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
Been a Yota guy my entire life, owned one of almost every single model (except a 200 series)
I got a 2014 Tundra knowing i wanted to put a camper on it, and knowing it would be pushing the payload limit, which it did, very much so, partly into FWC bogus claims about how "Light" their campers are.
In 100k miles, i went through 4 sets of rotors (3 sets of OEM, then DBA) , 2 sets of steering rack bushings, 3 sets of control arm bushings, and multiple iterations of leaf packs to get it to work.
Despite its horrendous MPG, i freaking loved the truck, and bummed it just wasnt up to the task.
Buyers Remorse? Not quite, a good learning lesson for sure though.
Sure, Tacomas and Tundras are great trucks, if kept stock, but when adding weight to them, they are a ticking time bomb in the maintenance category with wear and tear.
My Current truck is my first domestic and my first diesel. I fought the decision for a couple years, but its the right tool for the job.

Weight issues aside, it would appear he lost upwards of $30k maybe more on that deal.
