2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

When coming from a 6.5' bed it does seem useless. I miss the larger bed.

Me too in all honesty. The truck I bought had a twin to it sitting next to it with a 6.5' box... I'm kicking myself daily for not buying it.

I can see how 6.5" would be useful. But my 5'5" has worked well for me. If I ever went crew cab 6.5" box, I'd probably just go 3/4 ton since the truck is the same size anyhow.

If Ford put the 10 speed behind the 6.2, I'm guessing the fuel mileage wouldn't be much different than my 5.0L with a 6 speed and 3:73's either.

I had the same thing in Hawaii; Hurricane was coming in and Didn't want to leave it outside... any bigger and it may have been a casualty to it.

I would guess two thirds or three quarters of the time the shorter bed does what I need. It is just when I need a 6.5' bed that loss of one foot is huge and I have to break out my 30 foot boat trailer which is a pain.

Actually i'm regretting the 5.5' more now than ever... my off road trailer is 10', so the Talon fits but nothing else, if I had a 6.5' bed I could have a quad in the bed and the talon on trailer. Can't do that with the 5.5' as the tailgate would be down, and the trailer hits in in sharp corners...

Lengthen the trailer tongue?

I came accross these and had to order instantly, anyone try them? Any reviews? They're fog lights that are switchable between 6000k (bright white) for night driving, and 3000k (Yellow) for snow driving. So freakin' cool!!!!!
