Not much to report. Some cool features. Most seem gimmicky, though. That tailgate thing…meh. Nice to see all trims get digital speedo and big screens though. And the 2.7 gets a nice boost in HP and TQ (325/400)

Here is the configurator that is now live.

Seems like the new 302A is a downgrade for me. My current truck is an '22 XLT 302A supercrew 6.5 bed with sport pkg.
Can't get the sport pkg with 6.5 bed now and I'm not a fan of chrome.
Also looks like XLT no longer has the LED running lights which I like on mine as I drive a lot of highway.
And...my 360 cameras..... are now a SUBSCRIPTION??? No thank you!
Plus mine has the bedview cam which I believe was deleted for '23.
If Ford keeps that up my next truck will either be a GM, Ram or Toyota.

I’m a function over form guy, but that modular bumper is hideous.
I'm sure there will be aftermarket options available.
I found it strange the Tremor High doesn't get the same daytime LED's that a Lariat gets?
It gets the same headlights as an XL??

I think he’s referring to the fact that the HD PP was eliminated and 36 gal tank is standard. But for pretty much 90% of truck orders, it won’t matter much.
Exactly. If they sold that many HDPP's I'm guessing it wouldn't have been canceled. 90% of people won't notice a difference in payload 2023 vs 2024 models.

What reduction of payload?
I get the reason why, I am just curious how it will play out on the different packages, for example if the current package has 1800 lb payload what will identical package on the 2024 be reduced by etc. Bummer that they don't do the HD payload package anymore, although I would imagine they didn't actually put too many of them out. I would imagine the bigger gas tank won't change too many pounds though.

I think you’re misreading the R&T article. They typically suck, so that’s understandable.

All they’re stating is that max payload is down. As it states in there, something like 3300lbs. But that was with a 4x2 5.0 reg cab. Package that basically sold at 1% rate. Nobody was buying them. So they nixed it.

Other than that, for cab/drivetrain config that 99% of the people were buying, there’s virtually no difference in payload. A 2023 Supercrew XLT 4WD with 1,800lb payload would be exactly the same in 2024.

Agreed. HDPP used to be available up to the base Lariat trim. Last year it was only available on XL.
If they had offered it on the XLT high, I would have ordered it. But in 22 it was only available up to the base XLT.

However the rumor mill thinks they be working on another heavier duty F-200... We'll see....
