2025 GMC Canyon Elevation

Going to do an oil change this weekend

Insane how much the dealer and oil change shops charge.......$95-$110

I bought 6 quarts of 5W-30 full synthetic and an oil filter for $38 with tax

GM stated the oil must be Dexos 1 approved and not all full synthetic oil meets this criteria
Okl
40 bucks. They charge double and triple because they mark up the product, pay labor, and have overhead like lights and a loft

When I first got mine, with DFm. I had the dealer do the oil changes so it was on the, if there was a failure.
That was 2021 or so
Hub /big volume dealers charged like 76 bucks back then. And rotated the tires and did diags and multipoint inspections

What a silly simple and clean oil change to do!!!

Oil life reset now I'll be able to see how the percentage really is with my drive and idle times

I ordered a set (4) of the GM Bed Tie-Down Rings 23143241

They should be here next week

If it was sold w/o a CPO warranty, I'd wonder why. Might be a good idea to change as many fluids as you can, for peace of mind.

It has the balance of the factory warranty. The option extended warranty tgey wanted to sell to 100,000 miles was nearly $4,000. No thx

The truck only has 13,000 miles on it, zero reason the change anything other than the oil and filter

I had an Under Cover swing out tool box on my 2016 Silverado.

I liked it alot, so I just ordered one for the driver side (passenger side has the 110V plug) of my Canyon
