Just picked up a new Glock G44 for $380.00 and fired my first 50 rounds and gotta say it's a tack driver! It came with the factory trigger but, after 30 years with company Glocks it still a great trigger. This will also be my venture into a privately owned suppressor and weapon mod so looking forward to the long journey.

This was my go to truck & small game rifle until I picked up the Ruger 10/22 I recently posted. I'm retiring it.

An older Stevens Firearms Company 22/410 combination. Top barrel is .22, the bottom .410 shotgun. Nice wood stock. The rear lever opens the action, typical external manual hammer, the side button selects which firing pin is active. The wide variety of .410 loads gives this rifle a lot of flexibility (slug, heavy or light shot) with the .22LR.

A great shooter/plinker/small game hunter. Easy to carry but you do notice the weight increase of the twin barrels over a standard single shot/barrel platform.

I will partially answer my question. On eBay, I found Triple K magazines that fit, and I suspect they will do the job. Affordable, not really, but that’s a matter of perspective. They were about $45 per copy.

I've been really enjoying my rimfires as of late. We live out of town so I keep a shooting bench right out the back door all summer and a steel target out in the field across the drive. I've emptied many boxes of CCI quiet! I finally had to pound my rimfire spinner targets flat again! It's incredibly therapeutic. Anyway, thought I'd revive a thread on a worthwhile pursuit. I have several rimfire rifles and pistols, but my modified CZ 452 supermatch with a 3-9 VX freedom and my CZ 457 varmint with a Meopta Optika6 3-18x56 get the most use!

I’ve got a problem lol

It costs more than any rimfire pistol I’ve ever bought lol I’ve yet to pay more than $250 for a rimfire pistol. Snagged another stainless Single Six with both cylinders for $250 a few months ago, and have snagged a handful of MKII, MKIII, and MKIV Ruger’s over the years for $175-250.

below are the RimX and it’s “owner” (my boy) and the 10/22 clone. Both proven quite useful for ridding corn thieves off the camp feeder we have set up for the kids to kill hogs and deer off of.

I would love to find one of these old gems. I’ve seen a new version that looks much lighter, but ‘fragile’ compared to the older models.
