225/75/16 too narrow for a Disco 1?

215/85r16 duratracs are narrow...but they work.

One of my favorite thing about Land Rovers is they always look like they're on safari. When I think of safari vehicles I do not think of wide tires.

True. . . narrow has that classic old school look:
