I was very happy with a set I had on my Xterra, 235 80 R17

I wish they made 255 80 R17 I would consider for my Bronco

I can only dream of the market going back to regular sizes for off-roading, too many 14.5 options and not enough 9 to 10" options.

My Perentie RFSV is currently fitted with 235/85/R16 Cooper Discoverers - run with tubes due to the nature of the army split rims.

They are a good substitute for the 7.50 -16 Goodyear Hi-Miler Xtra-Grip tyres these vehicles came with as standard, and aren't as noisy on the road.

The standard army 7.50 -16 Goodyear Hi-Miler Xtra-Grip tyres used for this vehicle stand a little taller than the 235/85R16s as you can see from this more recent shot of the vehicle above
