first two pics same '00 TReK, OME +2" rear & +3" front w/ 255s, third pic '03 TReK, OME +2" w/ 265s. The '03/04's are sweet, but an early D-II w/ ACE is the best stock ramping LR ever made per LR.

235/85 are one of the best sized tires out there for moderate lift. The BFG in these size are load range e and take quite a bit of punishment and if run at high pressure on road they last for many miles. I ran them for years on my D1before going larger, merely for clearance.

I run 235/85 BFG AT on an F350 loaded with about 3000lbs of gear, maybe more. They are great tires. All my experience is with D1, but the 235/85 size is a great tire.

On a D1, at articulation, stock they will definitely rub and maybe you need to adjust bump stops. I would "expect" the same on a D2, if you have sways removed and/or no lift.

Please excuse my rover ignorance, but what is ACE?

Active cornering enhancement. Allows an extra inch of articulation. Keeps the truck level when cornering, kinda like sway bars.

Helps prevent motion sickness around corners for lack of a better definition.

d2s allow bigger tires when compared with d1s with same lift, etc. Rear articulation is less on d2s all else being the same due to watts.

How well does a 245/75/16 fit on a stock DII? I have a line on a set of 16" wheels and am thinking of buying a set of Treadwright Warden AT (BFG copy) for them in that size.

They should fit fine as they are pretty close to the stock height.
