255 85 16 tires and speedo

looking at putting these bigger tires on, now i have 265 70 16 and the speedo is off by about 3 mh so the odometer is off to. so putting 255 85 16 are going to change it lots and i dont want the extra miles on the odometer can i reset it? thanks.

only 1-2 miles off. with the 265 70 im getting 3+ miles off hate to think what its going to be with the 85s. tacomaworld form someone said look into new gages from dakota digital.

Don’t know if anyone has successfully installed any of these in a late model Tacoma.

You will put less miles on the odometer, not more.
With each revolution of the larger tire you will travel farther.

On my 02 my speedo is off 9% - 10%, with 255 85 16

Worth the extra coin......After regearing my Taco....It was a must....If your interested...call and we can get ya some pricing.....

Another option is getting a new gear for your speedo in your T-case.....That can get very close but not dead on like the Superlift one....

If you end up with the Superlift one....I can post up some pictures of my install to make it really easy for install
