265/70 versus 265/75 size difference. BFG AT's With pics!

Will there be any clearance/articulations with this size tire vs the 265/70 on the stock 4x4 susp? Thank you

I'm running 265/75/16s on my stock truck with no problems. I do not wheel my truck hard, just some backcountry trails and such, no hardcore wheeling, and have only had them rub once or twice. I can try to get a picture later if you want.

Great choice on the tire. I run some 33/10.50/15's on my 89 Toy and I love them.

Another advantage to using the 265/75's is that they are much more common than the OE size of 265/70. So when a flat occurs in some remote place, the chance that local tire store will have a replacement for you to get you home with is much greater.

You can't go wrong with BFG's. A friend of mine's dad had some BFG AT's installed at the dealer when he bought his truck. I happen to run in to him at Costco when he finally replaced them at 94k miles. He said they still had some life left in them and all of his miles were mature adult commuter miles too.

I am not sure if I want to get new rims or just put them on the ones I have....?

These tires are E rated tires.

Did I mess up getting these tires? Will the E rated tire be okay?

The e rated tires will be fine but you'll definitely notice a harsher ride.

These look like great tires! I'm glad you were able to find such a good deal on them. As for installing new tires, it really depends on what kind of rims you have. If you have the stock rims, then you might as well install the tires on those. However, if you're looking to get new rims anyway, then you might as well wait and get those first. Either way, I'm sure you'll be happy with the new tires.
