2nd gen tacoma reliability

I was very comfortable on my 28hr roundtrip I just took in my '10 taco. I also find it hilarious that you complained about the Tacoma's reliability.....and went to a Land Rover lol.

It was just the seats, I was doing on the road sales, at least a 1000 miles a week and those seats killed my lower back. The whole rover reliability thing is subject to ownership, take care them and the take care of you. I also hated the 4wd button and its location and non lit backing, I turned the heat dial more than a few times in the dark instead of the 4wd dial, LOL. If we could get a modern hilux I would have went that route, but that is here nor there.

You should have gone with the TRD/Sport seats. They are much nicer. :)

My TRD's seats are heads and shoulders above my 2001's TRD seats and the bench seat in my 09' Tacoma.

I 2nd that, love my 07 AC, 140K hard miles no issues, but those seats are nasty and this is a TRD whatever.. when I decided to do something about it, found that the foam has separated and the *** cushion dropped an inch through the spring/wire/mesh matrix, which destroyed my lower back. .. I added balsa wood between the springs and cushion with added foam, much better.

The rear springs were switched to OME Dakars with the extra leaf... no problem.
