Not that any of us need to be reminded of the fact that the camera doesn't matter, but this little collection of iphone images by Chase Jarvis reiterates that point. Not to mention it is super impressive.
"The best camera is the one that is with you." - CJ
That is so unbelievably true, and it was my wife that made me realize it...
We were at Samys buying her a new camera. I wanted to get her a 5D with the 24 -105 lens... She looked at me and said she would never use it and what is the point in having a camera you won't carry around. Better to tell a story with less megapixels than no story at all.
He actually stole that from me. I've been saying it for years. You can look it up on the intardnet. :victory:
Those sentiments are very, very true. You would be amazed at the work my students churned out with mostly el-cheapo $130 Canon point and shoot cameras. Understanding of how to SEE and how to operate the camera well will trump high-end expensive gear every time. Especially when that P&S is handy and the giant fancy camera is in the Pelican case at home.
Oh good gosh! You, me, and KC need to get around a camp fire someday. It would be hilarious! I can only imagine the talks we would have about wrestling. Long live Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka.:victory:
