4th gen 4runners/2nd gen Tacos: Skiplate options?

I know there are at least a few other 4th gen owners out there - what are you guys doing for skidplates?

Thinking about upgrading and I know the factory skids look pretty weak.

I second BudBuilt. I have a full 6-piece set of powdercoated steel skids and can't speak highly enough. When I ordered them there was a discount if you purchased the 5- or 6-piece set I don't know if that's still available, but I would definitely look into it. Bud is a really nice guy and now offers his skids in different materials. They are compatible with a few different bolt on sliders and with a front bumpers out there too. There are a few others that now make skids for 4th gens, but I can't speak to them. If you check out Toyota120.com forum you can learn more about BudBuilt and other offerings from guys that have them.

Edit: I should note that before I installed the Budbuilts I added a Fumoto valve (fumotousa.com) so I can drain the oil without the hassle of dropping the skid. It's well worth it.

I can also attest to the Bud Built skids, just received the 3/16 steel ones last week and plan on installing them in a few days. Customer service was great, talk to Lisa about what you need. The exotic materials take time to order (aluminum, stainless) however the 3/16 steel stuff they seem to keep on hand for quick shipping. I ordered mine Monday and got it on my doorstep Friday afternoon.
