Chevy step van 4x4 box truck. This was going to be my truck to build an expedition vehicle. Aluminum body very light weight! Weighs 6900 lbs! Straight axles with a np208 transfer case never got to placing the shifter. I want to keep but inflation causing me to test the waters on this. You know what they say money talks! When I bought it, it had been sitting for over 12 years, changed fluids, batterys, ignition switch, locks, and I added a snorkel! haha....still have a lot to go. It is not a perfect truck and needs some work to make pretty but she turns on everytime no issues. 1988 Chevy P30 with a gm 6.2 diesel. 126k on the clock..low miles. 40 gallon diesel tank!(in frame). This is smog exempt in CA! There is surface rust here and there but nothing major. These stepvans are the perfect platform to convert, flat lines everywhere, all aluminum, already insulated, and has a pass through. If you been looking for 4x4 heres your chance I searched everywhere to convert trucks to 4x4... yes you will find people who can do it but last i checked for a box truck it was north of 20k! for a conversion! Plus this is not another sprinter! and no where near the price of a sprinter! This one is done just needs someone to give love and convert into camper! I would like to get what I have into it. If I get close to it ill sell it. This is not for everyone but I know if you are like me you know how hard it is to find a 4x4 van let alone a stepvan with diesel. Thanks for looking
