FYI--they make a adaptor that bolts the cummins 4bt to a small block Ford C6 tranny.

There was one like that on the local cl, but inquiry revealed it had been brought down from Michigan.

We used to have a mini school bus for our surfing trips in Maine in the winter time. We'd surf to 20 minutes then crash in the bus with a bunch of heaters for 30 minutes. Great memories.

That bus would make a great platform to build from. good luck,.

My SAR team acquired a surplus AF bus, a 20-passenger Bluebird on a 67 International 4x4 DRW chassis....pretty cool. We converted it into a more or less mobile command post and ran it for 10 or more years...

The main problem with it was a big gas engine (a 370? Something like that) and used a LOT of gas....

I wish I was close enough. I'd probably buy it if I was. I go down for work every now and then but unfortunately I don't have any trips planned anytime soon.
