1 morning to pack and 5000 mile round trip to McCall Idaho and back. This trip started with a exciting job PT job opening in Idaho for Liz. After she looked up plane tickets ( only $900.00 bucks ) we decided there was no better time than now to put down some miles. Usually our trips involve lots of gear like kayaks,Sup's and Mtb. This trip was going to be a bit different though since we only had a little over a week.

The road trip up to Idaho wasn't much to talk about ..... a little road side camping / rest stop sleeping -- really wishing I had something to put in the windows to block out the street lights. Once we came back through Colorado everything changed though! We discovered traildamage.com and the fun was on!

The first trail we hit up was Halfmoon outside leadville CO. Easy trail with some cool water crossings and tons of amazing aspen's.

We then headed towards the front range to meet up with Liz's brother to camp over in Georgetown on the McClellan Argentine pass.

Some sort of lost...
Idaho is pretty central for long weekend trips. Close to Utah, Montana, Oregon ect. A day drive could put you at the Oregon coast or we'll into the parks of Utah. Houses in the Boise area are pretty cheap too!

Thats really good to hear about the housing prices! Co definitely isn't cheap. She would have a job but I'm a private contractor / Farrier so either place would take a bit to get established.
