600w inverter...whats it good for?

Well, it's a 640w continuous rated, mod square wave inverter. You can run anything on it. Some motors will hum, and very rarely, some delicate electronics might be screwed up.

But for the most part, you can use it for just about anything.

Does the fridge use 12v and have a converter that it uses when plugged into 120v? If it does, it'll probably be slightly more efficient in terms of watts consumed to just run it straight to 12v rather than doing the 12v -> 120v -> 12v thing.

:sombrero: It'll run your cooler easy, but when you've got the 600w inverter running, it will draw down your battery, even when the cooler doesn't needit--

I have run my ENGLE 40qt on A/C using a 150W inverter, but like dwh mentioned--it's must more effecient on straight 12VDC--

I've gotta 300w inverter at the back of my JKUR hardtop and it's fine for elec razor/lights/small AC stuff--I've gotta 750w inverter on my off-road trailer and it's even run my little elec chain saw, but ya gotta watch the battery loss--

I just picked a 400 watt (800max) inverter tonight, not sure what for but it looked attractive enough with 2 ac outlets & the usb ports, also the outlets haev rubber coverings which I think is needed in any vehicle

I opted for one with 2 USB ports, it seems I never have enough of those in the vehicle.
