'63 LR Series IIa

I saw this yesterday, it was at $2500, this morning $10k+ Oh well. I thought for a second perhaps I would get a steal. Anyway, someone with deeper pockets might be interested. The dealer is in my old town, they do great work, nice guys.

There's a reserve on the vehicle so I don't think that there ever was / is a great deal to be had (certainly not for $2,500). The reserve still has not been met. It may not sell...............

I would hate to know how much is tied up in that series. That one is very possibly over restored, I don't think they looked that clean from the factory!

man that truck is beautiful. The problem though is it's basically just a show truck, I wouldn't even want to drive that thing in the rain let alone get mud all over it.

I was thinking the same thing... to the mailbox and back (maybe)

it's so clean to me it looks like they haven't put any fluids in it yet :) (i.e. no leaks)

very nice specimen but I'd be scared to drive it in case I scratched it up. Not like my old one - a delivery truck tried to edge past me in my old series and dragged his passenger mirror along the side of the hardtop - looked like he was going to cry when he got out to apologize - my response was don't worry about it, don't you see all the other scratches :)
