DUDE! This is one great truck. I think you have the right idea keeping it stock. Just remember, this truck was born in the days of leaded gas. I'd have the heads redone so they wiil live on unleaded gas before the valve seats go and call it good. I had CJ-6 with a 283 Chevy motor in it that sat for years before I bought it. The valve seats lasted about 4000 miles before they eroded and the compression started falling off. Congratulations on this find.
