I have to say MrBeast, that your precision and expert fabrication really shows in the videos you posted. You are obviously taking every precaution to make sure things are built right. This truck is going to be soooo perrrrrrrfect when you are done!:wings::cool::D:wavey:

Thanks guys, that does mean a lot to me. I have been seriously stressing every little detail, I have even been grinding out the welds that im not 100% happy with and redoing them.

Right now I just want to hear it run so bad.

I don't really have much to update today, I suposedly have my hands on an intercooler as soon as my buddy in houston can run over and pick it up for me. I mailed him the cash yesterday but it has not shown up yet. As well the guy might have the intercooler tubes, we will see on that one, that would make life a bit easier.

I am pretty excited though all things considered, I keep going out sitting in the truck, its nice to have an old friend coming back togeather, I have been through a lot with this truck.

Tomorrow if im not too tired I am going to get the front clip put back on it and see how everything fits, I am still a bit nervous about the front axle, I can move it around if need be, and I took measurements several times, but I worry it wont be in the right position, allthough it does look right.

OOPS, forgot to post yesterdays updates here, so here they are.

Just a small update, I found and ordered some emblems for the truck.

Putting these on the front fenders where the 8-396 emblems would go:

Putting these on the fender in the appropriate position:

This is the color I have decided on.

This is how the motor mounts were built:

After a ton of measurements/lots of thought I came up with a 3D CAD file.

Then went to school and cut them out

And welded em out.

I am still going to be adding a cross member that bolts in that will go under the engine. It will be removable so as that I can drop the oil pan with ease if I ever need to change the oil pump or something like that.
