Only thing i am keeping my eye on is when Lincoln national forest opens up again, since all the fires and everything. The trail would probably take around 10 hrs to do if we go from the check point near 62/180. We can head all the way up to cloudcroft. I am trying to get some things put together to make traveling in vehicle more comfy so the soonest i will be hitting the long trails will be late august.:sombrero:

Maybe by then it will rain again! Might make the trails less dusty...goin to Kilbourne Hole means I leave a dust cloud a mile long and my truck's interior goes to a funky shade of tan!!

I believe that its so dang hot right now too. Today i drove the bII for 40 minutes in the 106 degree weather and to my surprise the temp didnt even go over 1/4 so the overheating is well taken care of. Now just going to access some rubbing issues and when that is done its ready to rock and role. Since my truck has no ac i just bought one of those clip on fans for the inside cause this past week my girl and I went trailing we were melting lol also going to make a little tent that one of the guys on another forum gave me. Just need to find water resistant material.

Look at this

I've been planning out a canvas topper for a while now using a ladder rack as the frame...got a lot of ideas for this set up but I wanted the canvas for when I'm trying to keep stuff dry, out of the dust, and out of eyesight.

Seems pretty good...but heavy for a tent probably

Its going to be mounted on the truck to a point so i am really not worried about weight. My Idea is like and extended part to were the tent covers the back of the hatch opening with a slide so we can put the sleeping backs on there or even a small inflatable matress. Also can double play as a table and shade area.
