I spent this A.M. getting the radio set-up. I've played with it somewhat but haven't figured out the node info you first posted. It may take more time for me, I usually leave my thinking cap at the office. Hopefully I'll be on soon. Thanks

i'll try to make it, our local ARES chapter has control of the node i can acess most of sunday, i'm working on building my own node to fix this problem, hope to make it!

I was on the air from 5pm MST/PDT to almost 7pm using the western reflector node 9251...
BlueFly from here joined me even though she is local to phx we were chatting away looking for checkins from anyone else..
I was monitoring the western reflectors webpage and notice a checkin from BC at first but the only voice comm I could here was when he signed off and only the last of his transmission "I am disconnecting"
I have a kenwood D7 handheld that I tried 1/2 was thru the chat with Donna and she heard me great on both it & my Yaesu...
I really did hope we would get more people....maybe if we just keep plugging away at it folks will come out & play..
I am on a run next Sunday so before I post another Offroaders Net I will check if I will have irlp access....otherwise maybe Fri pm or Sat afternoon/pm..

I checked and called out 3 or 4 times before disconnecting but didn't here any traffic. I've had that problem connecting to that reflector before from the node I was using. I'll be game to try it again and I will try using another node.

hey BC I felt terrible when I saw on the webpage that your node was connected and all I could get was static...
then worst of all you came in clear only on your last few words...
I hope we have better luck this Sat.

Got a call from one of my frends I have been trying to reach all week using IRLP letting me know that he could hear me but not well and that the repeater I was using was not retransmitting there replies. I have sent an email to the repeater owner and have switched to another repeater untill it gets fixed. I will see what I can do about getting in on the next one.
