95-04 Tacoma Bed Mounted Expedition Rack. Custom Made

I just got a great deal on a A.R.E camper top so I will not be using this rack on my trip across country in 2 months. I made this a few weeks ago. It will fit any extended cab Tacoma from 95.5-04. It is a unique design I came up with. It is very stout and I can hop and down on the very front part of the rack near the lights with no problems what so ever. It weighs in at approx 150lbs. The front part of the rack measures 14x48, and the rear 51x84. I stole the idea for the wind deflector from the xterra, it works great. It is silent when driving. I intended it to fit any ezi-awn with it extended off the rear. I primed and painted it satin black, but can be sprayed with bedliner for extra durability. I really dont want to sell it, but the cost of a ezi-awn is out of my budget at the moment. I am located in Northeast Connecticut and can be contacted at euro.love@hotmail.com. Or just send me a message. I am asking $1,250 with the lights or $1,100 without. Thanks, Ben

Yeah I hate hate hate hate to sell it for so cheap, but my expedition equipment plans changed. Must be gone by May 11th at the latest. I cannot go any lower on the price. This is material cost.

I will also consider partial/straight up trades for camping gear. Looking for a 12v fridge, Propane furnace, and whatever else will be a big asset to me on my 4 month+ long trip.

I like your design but unfortunately I live in So Cal thus shipping I think would horrendously expensive. I though have a question, when the body and the bed are flexing does the bar that goes on the side hit the windows? How far is it from the side rear windows? Here is to a great design:rockon:

Nope! I have a 3/8" gap between the windows when they are open. I havent done any serious wheelin with it, but I dont think it would be a problem anyways. Plus I never use those windows, just the rear slider.

No interest at all huh? Make me offers then. I got to get rid of this thing before May 14th. Thats when the closing on my house is!!

Very interested but I live in CO. If you could see what freight shipping would run to 80125 that would be great.

It is nearly perfect for what I need, it would be going on an 85 4Runner after some mods but.....................shipping is going to kill me and you.

LMK what you come up with.

Call a freight company and ask. Its approx 8' long by 53" wide and 3.5 Tall. Weighs approx 150. If shipping is $200-$300 thats still a good deal for this thing. my zip is 06242.
