I built this truck to be a capable, drivable 'backcountry' camping truck for us, but my needs have changed and it needs to go.
Truck is a 1998 GMC Sierra that started life as a 1/2 Ton Extended Cab, 4x4 Z71 truck. It has a Vortec 350, 4L60E and NP243 t-case (push-button 241, more or less). The truck has 192k miles on it, but the engine and transmission were replaced by the PO. Engine and Trans have 110k on them currently. Truck does get driven, so miles will be added over time.
I used an OffRoad Design Solid Axle Conversion in the front with 47" long front springs for a '73-87 Chevy. The front springs are 3" Tuff Country EZ ride springs. The ORD Solid Axle Conversion brackets add 2" of lift, plus the lift height of the springs, for a total of just 5" of lift. It was built to be fairly low, considering it sits on 37's.
Front axle is a completely rebuilt '78-79 Dana 60 w/ Yukon 4.88 gears and an ARB locker. Shafts are Yukon 4340, 35 spline outers with Spicer 806x joints and Warn 35 Spline hubs. New kingpins, new rotors, rebuilt calipers, etc, etc. Steering is ORD's cross-over setup with 1 ton TRE's and beefy steering arm. Has an Ruff Stuff diff cover and Lube Locker gasket.
Rear suspension has stock leafs with a ORD 4" Shackle Flip w/ ORD HD grease-able shackles, plus a 1" Zero Rate AAL to match the front.
Rear axle is from a '98 GM 1 ton, outfitted with Yukon 4.88 gears and a Detroit locker. Still has Drum brakes. Ruff Stuff diff cover and Lube Locker gasket.
Wheels are Hummer H2's with new 37" Goodyear MTR's w/ Kevlar.
Shocks are Bilstein 5125's on all 4 corners. 4" poly bump stops front & back. The bump stops in the back need to be moved down a few inches.
ORD 'Shorty' winch mount bumper, with clevis mounts. I was going to eventually add more tube, for better front-end protection.
I spent a lot of time & money on the interior... new insulation and carpet, new center console w/ hidden compartment, Corbeau Baja XRS suspension seats WITH seat heaters!!, Kenwood HD Radio/Bluetooth/Pandora deck and 4 new Kenwood Speakers, plus a 8" powered sub under the drivers seat. Stereo sounds great, very well-balanced.
New 3" exhaust with a Aero Turbine muffler and new Cat.
The body has some dents here & there, but no bad rust anywhere. There is a big dent on the passenger-rear quarter panel, at the far back and down low. Also a dent on the drivers-side fender, at the front. Other than that, the truck is pretty clean, considering the miles. Windshield doesn't have any cracks.
Power windows, locks, cruise control, A/C... all work fine.
New Optima Red Top battery, new alternator.
New headlight housings with high-quality bulbs and a Painless Wiring 'high-beam' kit so Low & High beam lights are on together when High beams are turned on.

Truck has less than 2,500 miles on it since the build... most everything added in the build is new. It's not too tall, considering the MTR's run true to their size... they're BIG 37's. It runs well and drives pretty good, have driven it to SLC, UT and up to Glenwood Springs, CO and several 4x4 trips, including the San Juan mountains and over the Henry mountains and the Burr Trail in Utah. The truck could use a anti-sway bar eventually, but it's fine running down the freeway at 75 MPH.
The Bad- It does have some minor issues or finishing details that I will be addressing as I get to them. One of the front, inner seals leaks... have new seals, just need to replace the one. ARB locker isn't wired & plumbed yet, have everything. Seat heaters aren't wired yet. The ABS light is on, due to deleting the ABS. The check engine light is on, the truck seems to need new O2 sensors. It could use a front CV shaft, the current shaft works OK under 30-40 MPH, but gets vibes at higher speeds. The 2 tires in the back are worn pretty well, still legal but will need to be replaced soon. They were on the front and I didn't have time to get it aligned before we used it to move. The truck since has been professionally aligned!

I'd like to keep the winch, but will include it for a additional $600. It's a Warn XD9000 with Master Pull synthetic rope.
I also have a working '98 4L80E and NP241 that I can include for another $600, if the new owner wanted a stronger transmission & t-case.
