Right?? There was a 98 winter package Montero at my local yard that was so clean I wanted to cry. It only had 160k ? couldn't even guess why it was scrapped..

I'm heading out on Tuesday to attempt to remove rear locker setup as I have a 2000 2.5. Have the list of parts to grab. Any tips on removing 3rd member/ driver side axle?

The entire chassis? That thing looks decent, way better than my battle scared 2.5, and its the same color, too.

If shipping wouldn't kill me I need the undertray/bash gaurd and the hood, but I'll settle for the little breather plug on the front diff, I currently have a wine cork in there keeping the fluid in after going throiugh avalanches and 3-4 feet of snow. I'm willing to admit that I'm unlikely to do the AN fitting project to the front diff cover with more snow on the way.

Apologize for the lack of response. Been out of town for work. Sad story on this montero. Body and interior were in perfect shape, but she had been stripped of here instrument cluster and multiple other parts. She was also a locker less model. My search continues. If I'm in the area again, I'll grab the headlights and mirrors.
